Job Description

Southern California Motorcycles has been family owned and operated in Brea for 25 years. We're veteran owned, we're the #1 Triumph dealer in the United States, and we sell and service Ducati, Royal Enfield and Suzuki out of the same campus. How we run the service department comes down to one thing: we do right by the customer, every time. When we get something wrong, we move mountains to make it right. That isn't a slogan on the wall. It's why riders have kept coming back for 25 years, and it's the standard the person at the service counter has to hold. That's the job we're hiring for.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who rides. You know what it's like to have your bike in the shop, to need it back before the weekend, to get a call you don't understand. A rider at the counter treats another rider's bike differently, and customers can tell within about thirty seconds. Someone who leads with customer service. The technical side of writing service can be taught. Caring what happens to the person on the other side of the counter cannot. If a job runs long, you call before they call you. If we made the mistake, you say so and you fix it, and you'll have the whole shop behind you when you do.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Greet riders at the service counter and on the phone, and write repair orders a technician can actually work from Ask the right questions up front so nothing gets rediscovered halfway through a job Quote parts and labor, get authorization before any work starts, and call the moment something changes Coordinate with the technicians and the parts counter to keep jobs moving Book appointments, manage the day's shop flow, and give riders honest turnaround times Process warranty claims across Triumph, Ducati, Royal Enfield and Suzuki Cash out the customer, go through the invoice line by line, and set the next service interval Own a problem when it lands on you, and follow up after the work so a rider hears from us before there's an issue
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You ride, and you can talk bikes with a customer without faking it Service writing experience at a powersports, motorcycle or automotive dealership Comfortable in dealership software. We run Lightspeed. You can explain a repair to someone who has never held a torque wrench, without talking down to them and without overselling Organized under pressure. Saturday morning at a four-brand shop moves fast. Clean DMV record and a motorcycle endorsement
WHY WORK HERE
This is a commission position. The range above is what the role pays today, and we expect the right person to beat it. Four brands under one roof, so the work stays varied Factory-trained technicians with 20+ years each, so you're never apologizing for the work that goes out the door Employee pricing on motorcycles, parts, gear and accessories A shop that has been in Brea for 25 years and isn't going anywhere Southern California Motorcycles is an equal opportunity employer.
