Job Description
Job Summary A growing manufacturing organization in Camarillo, CA is seeking an experienced B2B Customer Service Representative to support key customer accounts in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys managing business accounts, coordinating order activity, resolving issues, and building long-term client relationships. This is not a traditional call center role. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, helping ensure orders, quotes, pricing, inventory updates, and customer communications are handled accurately and efficiently. - Manage assigned B2B customer accounts and provide responsive support throughout the order lifecycle.
- Process customer orders received through EDI, email, customer portals, and phone communication.
- Prepare RFQs, quotations, pricing updates, specifications, and customer account records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, sales teams, production, inventory, and internal departments to support order accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide order status updates, monitor inventory and order progress, and resolve customer issues professionally.
- Build strong working relationships with aerospace, manufacturing, defense, industrial, and distribution customers. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $25 to $30 per hour.

- Manage key customer accounts and support B2B order workflows from quote to delivery.
- Process orders through EDI, customer portals, email, and phone.
- Coordinate RFQs, quotations, pricing, inventory updates, and order status communication.
- Partner with internal teams and suppliers to resolve customer needs and support account satisfaction.
- 5 or more years of customer service, account management, sales support, sourcing, or order management experience.
- Strong B2B customer service background, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or packaging environments.
- Experience managing customer accounts, order activity, customer records, and follow-up communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple account priorities.
- Professional problem-solving skills with a relationship-focused approach to customer support.
- Inventory coordination experience. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EDI systems or customer portal order processing.
- RFQ and quotation experience.
- NetSuite experience.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFARS, or related compliance-driven manufacturing environments.
