This role combines Medical Assistant knowledge with patient coordination and telephone support in a fast-paced cardiology setting. Responsibilities Assist patients by phone with clinical and appointment-related needs Gather and document patient symptoms, concerns, and medical information for provider review Route clinical messages and patient concerns to the appropriate provider or clinical team Coordinate and schedule cardiology appointments and follow-up visits Review patient charts and update information in the EMR Assist with medication, referral, and medical record requests as appropriate Communicate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Monday-Friday Location Chula Vista Requirements Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Bilingual English/Spanish required Current CPR certification Strong EMR and computer skills Excellent patient communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a high volume of calls and multiple priorities Cardiology experience preferred
