• Produce and process data/documents for import shipments ocean and air (occasionally export).
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers to provide timely and excellent service to clients and partners
• Develop relationships with customers and generate new business
• Solicit new customers to promote and expand Affinity Shipping brand
• Proactively handle any day-today challenges
• Build and maintain customer relationships by providing superior customer service
• Present customers with creative cost-effective transportation solutions and offer recommendation as well as options to tailor each customer's needs
• Negotiate rates with both customers and vendors to increase profit.
• Work in a team environment to meet business needs
• Prepare and maintain accuracy of all related documents, monitor status of shipments, and keeping customer updated
• Assisting AR with tracking payments from customer base Experience & Skills Requirement
• Minimum of 1 year in Sales or Customer Service is preferred
• Competitive energy and passionate spirit
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Work well independently as well as with a team in fast-paced environment
