Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity supporting customers in the car insurance industry. This role is ideal for a bilingual Mandarin and English professional who enjoys helping clients, answering questions, solving problems, and providing a positive customer experience by phone and in person. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level or early-career candidate who wants to grow in customer service, insurance support, and client care. The position offers a small office environment, supportive leadership, hands-on training potential, and a team-focused setting where reliability, attendance, initiative, and a positive attitude are valued. Candidates with prior insurance experience or a P&C license may qualify for higher compensation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming customer calls and assist clients in Mandarin and English.
  • Provide professional customer service over the phone and in person.
  • Remind customers about policy payments and help support account-related questions.
  • Assist with basic administrative duties, documentation, and customer follow-up.
  • Resolve customer concerns with patience, accuracy, and a solution-focused approach.
  • Work closely with the team to support daily office operations and customer service goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Job type: Temp-to-hire.
  • Schedule:
    Full-time, office hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Compensation for entry-level candidates: $20 to $25 per hour.
  • Candidates with insurance background: Up to $30 per hour.
  • Candidates with a P&C license: $4,000 to $5,000 per month plus commission.
  • Location:
    El Monte, CA / Walnut, CA / Arcadia, CA area.
  • Work environment: Small office environment.
  • Attendance is very important.
