$23 Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Customer Service / Yard Helper to join our team. This position combines customer service responsibilities with hands-on yard and equipment support. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an outdoor environment while assisting customers and maintaining an organized equipment yard. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service. Assist customers with equipment pickups and returns. Inspect rental equipment for cleanliness, damage, and general condition upon return. Help load and unload equipment safely from customer vehicles and rental trucks. Move and organize rental equipment throughout the yard. Clean, wash, fuel, and prepare equipment for rental. Assist with basic equipment checks and report any damage or mechanical issues to the appropriate team member. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and work area. Help customers understand basic equipment operation and safety procedures when appropriate. Answer customer questions and direct customers to the appropriate rental or service representative. Complete paperwork, rental documentation, and other basic administrative tasks as needed. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Assist coworkers with daily branch operations and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous customer service, warehouse, construction, equipment rental, or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required. Comfortable working around construction and rental equipment. Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions. computer skills (Excel, Microsoft, outlook, etc.) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently lift and move equipment and materials. Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in various physical positions. Ability to safely operate or assist with moving equipment after appropriate training.
