Job Description
Fleet Safety Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Support Executive (CSE) to join our team in Lathrop, California. This position plays a critical role in onboarding commercial drivers, coordinating pre-employment requirements, educating drivers on safety, and providing outstanding support to our clients. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can confidently interact with commercial drivers, clients, and internal departments while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the complete onboarding process for newly hired commercial drivers. Schedule pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and follow up until completion. Run and review Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs). Review onboarding documents for accuracy and completeness. Educate drivers regarding safety alerts, violations, and company safety expectations. Assign and monitor JJ Keller safety training courses and ensure timely completion. Follow up with drivers regarding outstanding documents and training requirements. Communicate onboarding progress and provide regular updates to clients. Respond to driver and client inquiries by phone and email. Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation. Work closely with the Safety, Compliance, Recruiting, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Qualifications Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Professional email writing skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Previous experience in customer service, transportation, logistics, recruiting, or safety compliance is preferred. Knowledge of the trucking industry or FMCSA regulations is a plus, but training will be provided. What We're Looking For Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
