We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who is energetic, detail-oriented, technically curious, and passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience. If you're a self-starter who enjoys solving problems, building customer relationships, following through, and learning new products and technology , this could be a great opportunity to grow with our team. About the Role As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a key member of our customer-facing team. You'll work directly with customers, vendors, outside sales representatives, and our engineering team to ensure customers receive accurate information, timely quotes, and excellent support from initial inquiry through order completion. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of customer service, inside sales, order management, quoting, problem-solving, and technical learning. You will report to the Customer Service Manager . Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by phone and email. Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries. Prepare accurate and detailed quotes using CRM systems and vendor portals. Process customer orders accurately, efficiently, and profitably. Follow up with leads and customers through outbound calls and emails. Qualify leads and existing customers and identify opportunities for additional business. Identify opportunities to develop customers into OEM and value-added projects . Enter and maintain accurate customer information and activity in the CRM. Support business development managers with quotes, orders, customer follow-up, and other sales activities. Work closely with engineering to identify and develop value-added solutions. Coordinate with vendors to obtain product information, pricing, availability, and order updates. Expedite orders when necessary and proactively communicate changes or delays. Troubleshoot customer issues involving orders, short shipments, delays, and other service concerns. Learn and manage the company's RMA process when necessary. Develop technical knowledge of TECO's fluid and motion control product lines. Participate in ongoing product, technical, and systems training. Communicate effectively using phone, email, internal messaging, and web-based meetings. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, distribution, manufacturing, or a related field . Strong computer skills and comfort working with CRM and web-based systems. NetSuite experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Strong follow-through and a sense of urgency when customers need assistance. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team. Comfortable learning technical products and systems. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
