The candidate will work with medical and financial information and must display a high degree of honesty and dependability. The position requires a resourceful individual with excellent customer service skills, patient care experience, office environment proficiency and teamwork abilities to get the job done. Experience in the medical field is a plus. Bi-lingual is a plus.
Qualifications:
Detail-oriented, quick learner, excellent customer care aptitude with professional conduct. We are looking for a personable Technician with strong communication and organizational skills.
Minimum qualifications include:
two years of customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office applications and a retail background is encouraged to apply. Having a valid driver's license and clear driving record is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medical equipment such as
CPAP, AUTO CPAP, BIPAP
to patients, according to Physician's prescription(s) (Training will be provided). Teach Patient proper use of sleep therapy equipment and comfort techniques. Carefully adhere to Physician's orders, Medicare standards and HIPAA regulations Communicate with Doctor's office and medical staff. Inspect, clean, test and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently. Set equipment controls to regulate the flow of positive air way pressure. Help patients find a right fitting mask for their therapy. Answer clinical questions regarding patient's equipment. Resolve technical problems with patient's equipment.
