Responsibilities Operate cash registers efficiently, accurately handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Maintain knowledge of store merchandise, stock levels, and merchandising standards to ensure attractive displays. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and inviting. Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Support supervisory staff by supervising team members during shifts when needed and ensuring store policies are followed. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly interaction both in person and over the phone. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers. Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and sales strategies. Experience with cash register operations, cashiering procedures, and retail sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward upselling and product demonstrations. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings.
