Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and assist them with their needs will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience. Operate the cash register and handle all transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and sales to effectively assist customers. Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies. Stock shelves and ensure product displays are organized and visually appealing. Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer engagement. Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong basic math skills to accurately handle cash transactions and provide change. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
