In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your energetic approach will help bridge the gap between customers and technicians, providing expert guidance on vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service options. Your mechanical knowledge and sales skills will drive customer satisfaction and business growth, making every interaction an opportunity to build trust and loyalty. Duties Greet customers warmly and professionally, listening attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain recommended repairs and maintenance procedures clearly, using automotive diagnostics and estimating software to provide accurate information Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repair to maximize customer value Prepare detailed service estimates using auto estimating tools while ensuring transparency and accuracy Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and communicate timelines effectively to customers Manage service writing tasks efficiently, including documenting vehicle issues, repair orders, and client communication Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process Skills Strong automotive diagnostics knowledge combined with mechanical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency Dealership or automotive repair shop experience preferred, especially in auto service management or service technician roles Familiarity with auto estimating processes for collision repair, oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and other automotive repairs Basic driving skills necessary for test-driving vehicles when needed Cash handling experience coupled with sales acumen to promote additional services effectively Join our team where your automotive expertise fuels exceptional customer experiences!
