Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services and repairs. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics and strong customer service skills will enable you to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs, recommend appropriate services, and ensure a positive experience throughout the service process. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service center. Assess customer needs by discussing vehicle issues and recommending appropriate services based on diagnostics. Prepare detailed service estimates and explain repair options clearly to customers. Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of service requests efficiently. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of customer interactions. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Stay updated on automotive technology, dealership policies, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. Skills Proficient in automotive diagnostics, including brake repair, air brake systems, shocks, struts, and alignment. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients. Sales experience is a plus; ability to upsell services based on customer needs effectively. Familiarity with dealership operations is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers.
