SHOP ASSISTANT / SERVICE ASSISTANT
Part-Time | Potential to Grow Into Full-Time We are a busy, growing automotive repair shop in Temecula looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated person to help with our day-to-day front office and shop operations. This is a great position for someone who is organized, good with people, comfortable on the phone, and doesn't mind running around and getting things done.
WHAT YOU'LL BE HELPING WITH
Answering phones and taking customer information Calling customers with basic updates Calling dealerships, parts stores, and vendors Looking up and ordering parts Picking up parts locally when needed Following up on parts orders and deliveries Helping schedule customers Keeping track of vehicles waiting on parts Helping organize paperwork and customer information Assisting the service writer with day-to-day tasks Keeping the front office organized Occasionally helping with other errands for the shop
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Reliable and shows up on time Organized and able to keep track of multiple things at once Comfortable making phone calls Friendly and professional with customers Good communication skills Able to take initiative instead of waiting to be told every little thing Comfortable using a computer, tablet, texting, and email Willing to learn Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Someone who works well in a small team environment
SCHEDULE
Starting part-time, approximately 20-30 hours per week. There is potential for additional hours and responsibility as the position and company grow. Every day can be different. We need someone who can stay organized, communicate well, and help keep things moving while our technicians and service writer focus on getting vehicles completed.
