Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Client Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and efficient management of medical records and billing processes. Duties Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-up communications using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Review and update medical records with accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and health information management standards Assist patients with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and payment processing related to Medicare and other health plans Support clinical staff by preparing care plans, documentation review, and ensuring proper CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding including ICD-9 and ICD-10 Handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries promptly Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and perform data entry tasks with high typing accuracy and speed (10 key typing skills) Utilize EMR/EHR systems proficiently to document patient interactions, update health information, and manage electronic health records efficiently Provide bilingual support when needed to assist diverse patient populations effectively Ensure compliance with clinical confidentiality policies during all documentation review and data handling activities Experience Previous clinic experience or medical office management experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and medical coding (ICD-9/ICD-10/CPT coding) Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is essential Experience in healthcare customer service or front desk operations in a medical setting is advantageous Demonstrated ability to handle health insurance processes including Medicare billing and documentation review Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for administrative tasks Bilingual abilities are a plus to support diverse patient needs Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and health insurance regulations ensures compliance at all times Join us in delivering exceptional client care by combining your healthcare expertise with your passion for service excellence.
