As an independent shop specializing in Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, we have built our business around technical expertise, honest communication, strong relationships, and taking care of our customers for the long haul. We're looking for a Service Advisor who shares that approach. The Role As a Service Advisor, you will own the customer experience from the first conversation through vehicle delivery. You'll work closely with our technicians and leadership team to understand customer concerns, present inspection findings and repair recommendations, obtain approvals, keep customers informed, and make sure every customer leaves confident in the work we've performed. This is an important sales role within our business, but our approach is consultative rather than transactional. Your job is to help customers understand their vehicle, make informed decisions, and feel genuinely taken care of. What You'll Do Build strong, long-term relationships with Sprinter owners Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document service needs Review technician inspections and translate technical information into clear, understandable recommendations Present estimates confidently and professionally Follow up on estimates and help customers prioritize repair and maintenance decisions Obtain approvals and accurately document approved and declined work Write and manage accurate repair orders Communicate proactively with customers throughout the repair process Coordinate with technicians and the shop team to keep work moving efficiently Communicate changes, additional findings, delays, and timelines Review completed work and invoices before vehicle delivery Explain completed repairs and future recommendations Develop repeat business, referrals, and lasting customer relationships Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Have successful automotive Service Advisor experience Are confident presenting estimates and asking for the sale without using high-pressure tactics Communicate clearly and genuinely enjoy working with people Know how to build trust quickly and maintain relationships over time Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do Are organized and comfortable managing multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously Ask good questions and listen to the answers Are comfortable receiving feedback and continuing to learn Work well with technicians, leadership, and customers Care about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching Experience with Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles is valuable, but it isn't everything.
