Job Description

Job Summary:
Do you have have experience working with young children? Are you curious about pursuing an educational background in early childhood development? Apply to be an Assistant Teacher at Kiddie Academy of Arvada! We provide you with training to help you build your qualifications.
Duties:
  • Help lead teacher implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
  • Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere
  • Assess students' progress and communicate with parents or guardians regularly
  • Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and early intervention strategies into daily activities
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is a PLUS
  • Knowledge of special education practices and principles
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience in early intervention programs
