POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Care Associate works with a dedicated Sales Engineer along with our suppliers to ensure our customers' needs are met. The Customer Care Associate is responsible for entering purchase orders, checking and verifying pricing, ordering parts, setting up Bill of Materials (BOMS) and offering basic technical help to our customers. The Customer Care Associate reports to the Customer Care Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers customer inquiries regarding products, services, orders, and shipments. Creates lasting and successful relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers. Listens to and resolves customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Documents all customer interactions and transactions in a clear and organized manner Provides accurate and up-to-date information about products, services, and company policies. Develop a strong understanding of products and services PB offers. Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide relevant product information. Manages order status, track shipments, and provide updates to customers. Handles returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies. Assists with invoicing and billing inquiries as needed Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments for resolution. Identifies trends in customer issues and provide feedback to improve processes. Communicates effectively with customers via phone, email, and potentially in-person. Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions. Follows up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the resolution of their issues.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience. Background in manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced team environment. Proficient in ERP software ( TrulinX preferred), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint) Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Bill of MaterialsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
