Customer Service Representative Mercury Excelum, Inc. - East Windsor, CT Full-Time | Monday-Friday Mercury Excelum is a family-owned window and door manufacturer serving customers throughout the Northeast. We're looking for a dependable, organized, and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team in East Windsor. This position works directly with our customers, sales team, and production staff to help ensure orders are entered accurately, questions are answered promptly, and issues are followed through to resolution. Responsibilities Enter and process customer orders accurately Respond to customer questions by phone and email Assist customers with order status, product information, pricing, and general inquiries Review orders for accuracy and help resolve missing or incorrect information Communicate with production, sales, shipping, and other departments regarding customer needs Help resolve service issues, order discrepancies, and customer concerns Maintain accurate customer and order information in our computer systems Follow up on open issues to make sure they are resolved Build strong working relationships with our customers Assist the customer service team with other day-to-day responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable handling multiple priorities throughout the day Professional and friendly on the phone and through email Able to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers Comfortable learning technical product information Able to remain calm and helpful when dealing with frustrated customers Dependable and willing to take ownership of problems through resolution Comfortable working with computers and learning new software Previous customer service, order-entry, manufacturing, building-material, window/door, or construction-industry experience is helpful, but not required . We are willing to train the right person. About Mercury Excelum Mercury Excelum is a family-owned manufacturer of custom vinyl windows and doors with more than 70 years in business. We manufacture our products locally in East Windsor and serve professional dealers and customers throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and the surrounding Northeast. We're a relatively small company, which means our customer service team works closely with sales, production, shipping, and management. We're looking for a customer service representative who wants to become a knowledgeable and reliable part of that team.
