Job Description

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) was founded in 1972 to support and nurture our community's most vulnerable children and families. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our service area. Child and Family Agency of SE CT (CFA) is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing compassionate care for children, adolescents, and their families. We are looking for dynamic, flexible individuals to join our team as Client Support Specialists to support the School-Based Health Center program. Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred with pay differential offered.
Primary Duties:
Open, close, and maintain clinical offices when applicable. Manage client records in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA requirements. Register new clients for schoolbased mental health and medical services. Perform administrative functions including phone calls, scanning, faxing, copying, and managing electronic forms. Assist families with completion of required service forms by phone, video, or in person. Schedule, reschedule, and backfill provider appointments. Support office operations by managing equipment, ordering supplies, and submitting facilities and IT work requests as needed. Greet and assist visitors and vendors at clinic sites when applicable. Support medical staff with Connecticut Vaccine Program (CVP) requirements, including vaccine deliveries, transport, and temperature monitoring as trained. Participate in programspecific projects and crosstrain to provide coverage at alternate locations as needed. Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, Email).
Qualifications:
