Job Description

THERE IS A BETTER OPPORTUNITY.
If you're reading this, I know taking a chance on a new company isn't easy. Maybe you're doing well where you are. Maybe you're comfortable. Or maybe you know you're capable of more, but you're not sure the next opportunity will actually be any different. On the other side of fear is
EVERYTHING.
My name is Paul. I'm the owner of Paul's Auto Repair in East Hartford and Mike's Auto Service in Newington, and I'm going to be 100% transparent with you. I know what it's like to work hard and feel like your voice isn't heard. To care more than the people around you. To have ideas but no authority to implement them. To be expected to produce results without having the people, systems, training, or support necessary to actually succeed. And maybe the hardest one - to know you're capable of more, but have nowhere to go. That's exactly the kind of environment I never wanted to build. I've been in the automotive repair business my entire life. When I became a shop owner, I wanted to build something different - for our customers, but just as importantly, for the people who work here. Today, we're building a company where great people can build great careers.
WHAT DOES THAT ACTUALLY MEAN?
It means you'll have:
  • Excellent technicians who can produce
  • A company that invests heavily in tools and equipment
  • Strong systems and processes
  • A high car count and plenty of opportunity
  • Training and coaching to help you improve
  • Leadership that listens to your ideas
  • The ability to make decisions and take ownership
  • A team that genuinely wants to win together
  • Real opportunities for advancement as our company grows We aren't looking for someone to simply fill a seat.
We're looking for someone who wants to help lead. Someone who notices problems and wants to solve them. Someone who can hold people accountable while still caring about them. Someone who understands that great customer service and great profitability aren't opposites - the best shops do both. Someone who wants responsibility, wants to grow, and wants their contribution to matter. Are we perfect? Absolutely not. We make mistakes. We have difficult days. We're constantly changing and improving. But that's also what makes this opportunity different. We're building something. And the people who help us build it will have opportunities that don't exist in companies that have already decided exactly what everyone is allowed to become.
WHAT YOU GET HERE

WEEKENDS. A
high-volume, established operation. Talented technicians who can actually perform the work you sell. Strong systems and processes. Excellent earning potential for high performers.

  • Paid PTO and vacation
  • Paid training
  • We pay you to attend training
  • Paid certifications

  • Team-building events
  • Employee parts purchases at cost
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • A company that invests heavily back into its people and facilities
  • And more
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This isn't an entry-level position. We're looking for an experienced automotive service advisor, service manager, or shop manager who has made this industry their career.
You should be comfortable:
  • Building trust with customers
  • Presenting and selling needed repairs and maintenance
  • Managing a busy automotive repair environment
  • Communicating with technicians
  • Handling difficult conversations
  • Following and improving systems
  • Tracking numbers and understanding performance
  • Holding yourself and others accountable
  • Leading with a positive attitude
  • Making decisions and solving problems
  • Coaching and developing the people around you Most importantly, you need to care.
About the customer. About your technicians. About your teammates. About your results. And about becoming better than you were yesterday.
WHY AM I TELLING YOU ALL OF THIS IN A JOB AD?
Because I'm not looking for another employee. I'm looking for people who can help us build the next version of this company. We're growing, and growth creates opportunity. If you're already successful but feel like you've hit a ceiling... If you know you're capable of leading at a higher level... If you're tired of working somewhere where nobody listens... Or if you simply want to see what else is possible for your career... Let's talk. You don't have to quit your job. You don't have to commit to anything. Come meet me. See our shops. Meet our team. Ask me the hard questions. You might find out that there's a much bigger opportunity waiting for you than you thought. Take the chance and apply today. I look forward to meeting you. -
