Position Summary:

French Cleaners is seeking a Customer Service Representative to create a welcoming, professional experience for every customer. Our Customer Service Representatives are the face of the business and play a critical role in receiving customer items, documenting care instructions, answering questions, and returning completed orders accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, comfortable using a computer and phone, and attentive to details. Dry-cleaning experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent service. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available based on experience and availability.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and courteously, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere. Receive customer garments and household items and accurately enter order details into the computer system. Identify and document garment types, colors, brands, fabrics, stains, damage, special requests, and care instructions. Tag garments and verify that customer information and order details are complete and accurate. Inspect incoming items for visible stains, defects, missing buttons, damage, and potential processing risks. Explain available services, expected completion dates, pricing, and care recommendations clearly and accurately. Process completed-order pickups, payments, and receipts accurately. Answer phone calls and respond to customer questions in a helpful and professional manner. Communicate special instructions and customer concerns to production, tailoring, and management teams. Help resolve routine customer concerns and promptly involve a manager when additional support is needed. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional customer-service area. Learn multiple facets of the operation and assist other departments as needed.

Comfortable using computers, phones, payment systems, and learning new software. Good listening and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn basic fabric, garment, stain, and professional-care knowledge. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, data-entry, laundry, or dry-cleaning experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
