Job Description
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a non-profit organization in Washington, District of Columbia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, enjoys helping stakeholders, and can manage detailed submission reviews with accuracy. In this role, you will assist with customer inquiries while evaluating recording information tied to Letter of Direction submissions to ensure materials are properly understood and processed.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries by phone and provide clear, courteous support regarding submissions and related questions.
- Review Letter of Direction materials and assess recording details to determine their relevance and value within the submission process.
- Enter and update order or case information accurately in internal systems while maintaining organized records.
- Handle a mix of incoming and outgoing calls to gather missing information, clarify documentation, and resolve customer issues.
- Guide customers through submission requirements and explain next steps in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Monitor assigned requests and follow through on open items to help ensure timely completion and resolution. Requirements
- Experience in call center or customer service environments with a strong focus on clear, detail-oriented communication.
- Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining accuracy and a positive customer experience.
- Background in order entry, case updates, or similar data input responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing documentation and recording-related information.
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and following established procedures.
- Proficiency with standard computer systems and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
