Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an Assistant Florist and Customer Service Representative, where you'll blend your passion for flowers with your enthusiasm for helping customers create beautiful moments. In this dynamic role, you will assist with floral design and arrangement, support retail sales, and deliver exceptional customer service both in-store and on the phone. Your energy and organizational skills will help ensure our shop runs smoothly, providing a welcoming environment for all visitors. Looking for a self starter who is eager to learn! Duties Assist with floral design, floral arrangement, and floral merchandising to create stunning displays that inspire customers. Support retail sales by engaging with customers, processing orders and answering questions Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for cash handling and sales transactions. Provide excellent customer service via phone communication, in person, and through online channels. Maintain an organized work environment. Help with maintaining store displays, cleaning and organizing flower coolers Event set up and take down for weddings and other special occasions Requirements Previous experience in retail sales and customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions Passion for floral arts with a keen eye for color and design Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and e-commerce order fulfillment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers Ability to work in a fast paced environment where standing all day is required.
