• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant to the Manager/Service Writer to join our dynamic team.

This vital role combines administrative support with customer service excellence, ensuring smooth operations within our dealership's service department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and sales, possess strong mechanical knowledge, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the Service Manager with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing service workflows Answer phones with professionalism Prepare detailed service estimates for repairs and maintenance using dealership software and diagnostic tools Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and estimated completion times Support upselling of additional services or upgrading from service to new sales Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining proper records Maintain organized service records, warranty documentation, and customer files to ensure compliance and easy retrieval Assist with inventory control, receiving, shipping. Experience Previous dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and mechanical systems in Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and automotive repair procedures Proven ability to upsell services while maintaining excellent customer relationships Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving Basic cash handling skills combined with a solid understanding of automotive sales processes Experience in a golf car dealership a plus Sunshine Golf Car has been in business since 1980!
