In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills and customer service expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction and fostering repeat visits. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area. Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations with excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring positive guest relations. Assist in training new hosts/hostesses as needed, sharing best practices in hospitality. Requirements Previous host/host experience preferred; food service or restaurant experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
