Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist and Insurance Co-Ordinator to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, patient intake, and insurance processing. Your expertise in dental billing, coding, and insurance verification will be essential to streamline office operations and maximize revenue. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify patient information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes Schedule and confirm appointments accurately using dental practice management software Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle insurance co-ordination Submit and follow up on outstanding dental claims Collect payments Review documentation for accuracy and completeness; update patient records Answer multi-line phone systems professionally with excellent phone etiquette; manage patient inquiries and appointment rescheduling Proven experience as a dental receptionist with at least two year of experience Strong knowledge of dental terminology Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Office management skills including filing, documentation review, multi-line phone handling, and front desk support.
