The Farm Market & Customer Care Assistant supports the mobile butcher shop side of Fruitful Earth Farms. Although this position is based on a working livestock farm, this is not an animal-care or livestock position. The role focuses on preparing for and attending farmers markets, assisting with market sales and customer orders, and supporting day-to-day retail operations. This is the entry-level position on the Farm Market & Customer Care team. Team members begin by learning our products, procedures, order preparation, market preparation, and customer service standards while working under the guidance of our Lead and/or manager. Position Details Approximately 20 hours per week Saturday and Sunday 6 AM availability is required

Pay:

$16/hour once trained ($15/hour during training) Primary Responsibilities Prepare and package customer orders accurately and neatly Load, unload, organize, and restock packaged meat, supplies, and market equipment Assist with farmers market setup, customer service, sales, restocking, and breakdown Maintain clean, organized work and storage areas Learn Fruitful Earth Farms products and be able to answer basic customer questions Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently under the guidance of a Lead or manager Communicate when tasks are complete, supplies are low, or a problem needs attention Position Requirements Dependable, punctual, and able to consistently work the required weekend schedule Detailed-oriented and able to follow instructions, checklists, and established procedures Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers Able to comfortably lift, carry, and walk with up to 50 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
