This role is essential to keeping our daily operations running smoothly by coordinating service calls, communicating with technicians, and ensuring timely and efficient customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with professionalism. Job Description As a Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching plumbing technicians to service calls, maintaining clear communication between customers and field staff, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently. This position includes participation in an on-call rotation to support after-hours and emergency service requests. Key Responsibilities / Duties Schedule and dispatch technicians to residential and/or commercial plumbing service calls Coordinate daily routes to maximize efficiency and response times Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, delays, and service updates Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed Handle incoming calls, including emergency and after-hours requests Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and customer information Support technicians with job details, directions, and updates Participate in an on-call rotation for nights/weekends as required 1 week a month Requirements Previous dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Proficiency with computers and scheduling/dispatch software Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Pay:

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
