Job Description

As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative , you will play a key role in supporting both our clients and agency operations by: Providing outstanding customer service to existing and prospective clients. Answering and routing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and assisting customers with insurance-related questions. Processing policy change requests and ensuring accurate documentation. Following up with carriers to confirm endorsements and policy updates. Assisting with underwriting, rewrites, re-quotes, reinstatements, and policy cancellations. Obtaining required underwriting information, signatures, applications, and supporting documentation. Managing policy renewals and reviewing billing accounts with insureds. Processing customer payments. Updating and maintaining accurate client records within the agency management system. Providing proof of insurance documents, including binders, certificates, ID cards, endorsements, declarations pages, and evidence of property forms. Documenting all customer interactions in accordance with agency procedures. Supporting general administrative duties, departmental projects, reporting, and office operations. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License, which is an entry‑level property‑and‑casualty insurance license High school diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Previous insurance agency experience within the last 2 years. 2+ years of administrative, office support, or customer service experience. Experience with Applied Epic or other agency management systems. Knowledge of personal lines insurance servicing and policy administration.
