Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious, client-focused, and Florida 2-15 Licensed Insurance Agent for a career-defining opportunity. In this role, you will inherit the book of business of a top-producing agent who is retiring in February 2027 after 32 exceptional years with our firm. To ensure your success, you will undergo a comprehensive mentorship and training program directly under this veteran agent. You will leverage your existing life and health insurance experience while mastering the senior health market (clients age 65+). We set you up for long-term wealth building by providing a stable base salary, uncapped incentive pay, warm leads , and a seamless, warm hand-off of an established, loyal client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Elite Mentorship & Training:
Work side-by-side with our retiring 32-year veteran agent to absorb his proprietary workflows, relationship-building secrets, and deep product knowledge.Warm Client Transition:
Learn the history, nuances, and specific needs of the retiring agent's active account base to execute a flawless, warm hand-off before February 2027.Life & Health Sales:
Service the existing book of business and actively cross-sell insurance, annuity, and health productsLead Utilization:
Follow up on company-provided leads to convert prospects into long-term policyholders, and/or refer them to our investment advisors when appropriateCompliance & Excellence:
Maintain strict compliance with Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) guidelines and CMS Medicare marketing compliance standards.Required Qualifications:
License:
Active, clean Florida 2-15 (Life and Health) Insurance License .Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of successful experience selling life insurance and Medicare related health insurance products.Education:
College degree preferred. Lifelong learning mindset required. Basic computer skills required. Ability to navigate email, carrier websites, client relationship management software, etc.Coachable Mindset:
An eager willingness to learn about various financial products and services in order to directly assist clients, or refer them to a specialist, when needed.Relationship Focus:
Exceptional empathy, communication skills, and comfort working extensively with the senior (65+) demographic.Expertise:
Ability to find unmet client and prospect needs and match appropriate products and services to address those needsProfessional:
