Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling cash transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately. Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed. Supervise junior staff or new associates during busy periods. Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Promote store products and services to enhance sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Experience Previous experience in cash handling is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for customers. Familiarity with retail sales environments, particularly in grocery stores, is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience using cash registers or POS systems is advantageous. Supervisory experience is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
