We insure trucking companies, from a single owner-operator to fleets of trucks, and our clients call us when they need something handled now. Your job is to pick up the phone, figure out what they need, and take care of it. No prior insurance experience necessary! We train you, we pay for your Georgia Property & Casualty insurance license, and we promote from within. Our goal is to build a strong team that collaborate, grow together, and provide top-notch service to our clients. What you'll do in a day: Answer incoming calls from clients and prospects and route or resolve them Process payments, set up billing and premium financing, and answer billing questions Issue certificates of insurance, ID cards, and policy documents Process endorsements and cancellations following agency procedure Quote coverage changes and prepare accounts for renewal remarketing Work alongside our Sales Producers on account reviews and follow-up Document everything in our agency management system What we're looking for: A personable, level-headed team member eager to dive in and learn about trucking and insurance Comfortable on the phone, including sometimes making calls where the news isn't good Strong attention to detail and habitual note-taking. Solid typing speed (50+ wpm) and confidence in Outlook, Word, and Excel Able to juggle several open items at once without dropping one Comfortable working from established procedures with minimal hand-holding once trained Your first 90 days Weeks 1-4 you'll shadow, learn our systems, and handle documents and payments, and take live calls with backup. By month three you'll be running your own task list and studying for your license.
