We are a growing company specializing in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and mobility products , including power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and related products. We are looking for an experienced and dependable DME Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong phone customer service experience and preferably has previous experience working with DME, medical equipment, mobility products, healthcare, or a related industry . Job Responsibilities Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls in a professional, friendly, and timely manner. Assist customers with product questions, orders, shipping, delivery, returns, warranty, and service issues. Provide customers with accurate information regarding power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and other DME products. Troubleshoot basic product and service issues and determine the appropriate solution or escalation. Handle customer complaints professionally and work toward effective resolutions. Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Technical Service, and Management teams to resolve customer issues. Process and follow up on warranty claims, returns, repairs, and replacement requests. Maintain accurate records of customer communications, service cases, and follow-up activities. Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Escalate complex technical, warranty, or customer issues to the appropriate department. Provide a high level of customer service and maintain positive customer relationships. Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
2+ years of professional phone-based customer service experience . Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong telephone etiquette and active listening skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Ability to remain patient, professional, and courteous when dealing with difficult customers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer issues. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Comfortable using computers, email, ERP, and order management systems.
Preferred:
Previous experience in DME, durable medical equipment, medical devices, mobility equipment, healthcare, or a related industry . Experience with power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers, or other mobility products . Experience handling warranty claims, repairs, returns, or technical support. Experience working with senior customers or customers with mobility needs. Familiarity with DME terminology and industry practices. Experience with e-commerce, ERP, or order management systems. Flexible to work on Saturday/ Occasional customer calls or service situations may require a temporary extension beyond regular hours.
