Cashier Job Summary:

Duties:

• Greet and assist customers courteously and professionally to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Process transactions accurately using cash registers and handle payments efficiently
• Efficiently scan and bag items for customers while maintaining accuracy
• Adhere to company policies when processing returns and exchanges
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve any issues or complaints effectively
• Utilize upselling techniques to promote products to customers
• Support stock replenishment and assist with merchandising tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated sales skills with the ability to achieve or exceed sales targets
• Proficiency in technology, sales and conducting product demonstrations for customers
• Competency in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
• Experience in liquor sales or related retail environments is advantageous
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus
• Familiarity with retail math principles to support sales transactions
• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
