Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly and assist them with product questions, product demos, and store navigation Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring a positive shopping experience Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks Assist in supervising team members during shifts when necessary, ensuring smooth store operations Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions Previous supervising experience preferred for leadership opportunities Ability to demonstrate products effectively through product demos to engage customers Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for remote assistance or inquiries Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales potential Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous for retail environments involving food or perishables Ability to perform cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Customer service skills focused on creating a friendly, helpful atmosphere for shoppers Capable of stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and supporting overall store presentation This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career in a fast-paced environment.
