Ideally, someone based in Coweta, Fayette or South Fulton Counties as this particular route would start in Marietta and end in one of these counties. Will primarily service locations in South Fulton, Coweta, Fayette and Henry Counties out of our Marietta Warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks. Hours are Monday-Friday, 5am until done, usually around 3:00. This is a Salaried, plus weekly bonus, position. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing GPS navigation systems when necessary. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and any required documentation. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods. Requirements Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Familiarity with route driving and local area navigation is beneficial. Experience operating pallet jacks is desirable but not mandatory. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.
