Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restock shelves, and ensure merchandise is properly displayed through merchandising and stocking tasks. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance their shopping experience. Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, including balancing registers at shift end and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures. Support store operations by performing basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or returns while adhering to phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone. Assist in product demos and educate customers about store products to boost sales and enhance their understanding of available merchandise. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred; familiarity with retail math and cashiering procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear information and excellent customer service in a bilingual setting is highly valued. Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures. Ability to perform retail math accurately, handle a cash drawer responsibly, and execute retail sales transactions efficiently. Excellent phone etiquette skills combined with the ability to upsell effectively during customer interactions. Experience in retail sales transactions involving basic math calculations; familiarity with retail store policies on cashiering is essential.
