Companion Animal Clinic (Gilbert, Iowa, just 5 miles north of Ames!) is continuing to grow our team! We are looking for a full time CSR (Client Service Representative) who is eager to take initiative and be a team lead! We are a team that loves to work hard and have fun at the same time. We are a growing, privately owned small animal clinic and boarding facility that takes pride in our team work, exceptional customer service, quality patient care, and continuing education for our staff. Our ideal candidate would be positive, upbeat and reliable, a pro at multi-tasking and communication, and looking for an exciting position in a fun-loving team environment with supervisors who support your continued growth.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Provide exemplary customer service and client education Computer and software proficiency, experience with Cornerstone a plus Experience working in a veterinary hospital or medical office preferred Knowledge and explanation of hospital services and their value to clients Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care Handle emergency situations by following established hospital policies and procedures Schedule appointments and prepare all required forms such as new client forms, health certificates, vaccine certificate, lab reports and euthanasia forms in advance when possible Discharge patients which include reviewing SOAP notes for correct charges and ensure that future reminders are set up in the computer system for the patient Collect client fees, make change, process credit card transactions and assist in making count of cash drawer Animal restraint Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Full time availability including working rotating Saturday shifts (9am-1pm) What can we provide in return?
