Job Description
Answers calls in a professional and courteous manner with a goal of having the customer feeling "delighted". Give a World- Class customer experience. Increase average order size using effective up-selling techniques. Urgently answers calls during times that customers are in queue such that no customer waits more than 20 seconds. Essential Analyzes customer situations and determines which department the customer needs to speak with in order to serve them the best (i.e., Product Information line, Services Support, Customer Assistance, Marketing Support, Field Support). Receives telephone orders by accurately and courteously interfacing with customers and entering orders correctly by operating a computer terminal, etc. Offers information on new products, sales aids and monthly product specials. Performs suggestive sales by recommending additional products or services. Completes various order forms completely and accurately. Completes new customer phone enrollments by accurately and courteously obtaining and verifying customer information. Additional Performs other duties as assigned or needed. Essential Quality Scores that meet established standards 10 key by touch. Typing 30 wpm. Ability to analyze problems. Ability to work independently and professionally. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under stress. Sit with intermittent walking. Manual dexterity for such duties as stapling, collating, sorting, filing, typing, writing, etc. Communicate (hearing & speech) with individuals in person and by phone. Visually read reports, computer screen, etc. Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy. Additional Computer experience helpful. Previous Sales experience helpful.
