Customer Service Representative:

$18.85+ temp to perm Temporary approx. 3 months with a possible extension bi-lingual a plus in spanish Clerk experience is preferred. good communication skills are important large international food production client The Customer Service Representative provides order entry, administrative, and customer support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position manages multiple customer requests, orders, and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and providing responsive service. The duties below repre Enter customer orders into the ERP system accurately and efficiently while maintaining a productive workflow. Manage a high volume of orders, customer requests, and time-sensitive tasks simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needs change while maintaining accuracy and timely follow-through. Send order confirmations and acknowledgements to customers within 24 hours by email and/or through EDI systems. Relay orders to the shipping and production teams to support accurate, on-time delivery. Update and verify data in ERP system to ensure accuracy and completeness. Interact with customers via phone, email, or chat to provide prompt and effective support. Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Provide customers with order status updates by coordinating with shipping and production managers to confirm orders are filled accurately and shipped on time. Work directly with the shipping team and logistics carriers to coordinate order needs, reschedule deliveries, notify customers of shortages, assist with scheduling appointments, and complete other shipping-related tasks as needed. Facilitate and distribute sample paperwork. Run volume reports for the Customer Service or Sales departments as assigned. Assist in preparing paperwork for international exports to Mexico and Canada. Assist with updating customer price lists, monitor expiration dates, and notify the Customer Service and Sales Support teams when a price list is approaching expiration. Assist with completing contract forms, preparing change-of-address records, and issuing discontinuance orders as assigned. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive customer information High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least one year of related customer service, order entry, or administrative experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must type accurately at 35 words per minute or more and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, order-processing systems, email, and electronic data interchange (EDI) systems.
