This position is full time, Monday thru Friday on-site, 8:00am to 5pm, 1 hour lunch . This role also participates in weekend on-call rotations. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in office with appointments, set-ups Answer inbound phone calls from customers. Brightree experience is a must Receive & manage referrals from multiple platforms (ie: Parachute, electronic fax, etc.) Insurance Verifications & Same/similar checks Data entry Required to learn multiple insurance guidelines and specific Durable Medical Equipment (DME) requirements for various payors. Close communication with facilities, physician offices, patients, and insurance companies to process billing for durable medical equipment provided. Request documentation from referrals via phone and/or fax. Ability to provide a calm and caring approach to each patient and customer, especially during times of high-volume calls and client issues. Processes transactions in a timely manner. Prioritize orders to review based on set guidelines from supervisor. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
