In this role, you will provide quick, one-call resolution to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions while managing orders through a highly matrixed organization. Key Responsibilities Review, price, and route customer correspondence and orders according to standard protocols. Manage order entry, order scheduling, triage, and root-cause analysis for problem resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer queries efficiently. Read, interpret, and manage architectural plans, specifications, and hardware schedules. Handle direct communications and negotiations with customers and contractors. Ensure all order processes align with relevant building codes and labeling requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a specialized technical industry (experience in the hollow metal door openings industry is highly preferred).
Technical Skills:
Ability to read architectural plans; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, TrackPoint, OrderPro, or comparable ERP/ordering software preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
Full understanding of building codes and hardware labeling standards. Strong basic math skills, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of positive team collaboration. #

$22.00 per hour
