Job Description
We're adding to our team and looking to fill a part-time sales associate position. This team member would be assigned to the register/sales floor, focusing on providing outstanding customer service while maintaining an excellent, overall appearance of the sales floor. The sales associate is expected to provide an efficient and courteous customer experience with a high level of energy, professionalism, and positivity. We are looking for a team player!! Someone who is a do-er and has an 'I can figure this out' mentality.
Hour Requirements:
- Ability to work 10-15 hours per week which includes weekday shifts that start after 3pm.
- Ability to work an assigned 2-3 Saturdays per month from 9:45 am - 3:15 pm along with weekday scheduled shifts
- Ability to work an assigned 2-3 Sundays per month from 10:45 am - 3:15 pm along with weekday scheduled shifts
Other Required Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- General keyboard and computer skills
- Ability to learn our point of sale system
- Ability to maintain a friendly, customer service disposition during the entire shift
Skills:
We're looking for someone who can communicate effectively, work under pressure, make decisions independently and self-motivate, is good at time managing off a to-do list, is organized, and is a team player. Our sales floor associate enjoys a fast paced work environment and has a desire to meet and exceed assigned goals.Responsibilities:
- Handle customer service to include checking out customers, answering the phone, helping customers find inventory on the sales floor, put back unwanted items, becoming familiar with brands/products/prices to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintaining store displays, organizing and cleaning the sales floor, creating ways of re-organizing inventory to accommodate incoming inventory, restocking inventory
- Perform housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, counters and front of store grounds.
