Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused professional to join our growing independent wealth management firm. About the Firm We are an established independent fiduciary wealth management firm located in the western suburbs. Our firm has grown steadily through long-term client relationships and referrals. Our team includes experienced financial advisors working to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management. The Opportunity This is a full-time, in-office position for an experienced Client Services Associate. You'll serve as a key operational partner to our advisors, taking ownership of the client service process and helping ensure every interaction reflects the high standards our clients expect. You'll build trusted relationships with clients, coordinate with custodians and third-party partners, and play an important role in helping our firm continue to grow. As the firm expands, there will be opportunities to take on increasing responsibility, develop specialized expertise, and build a long-term career within the organization. Responsibilities Own the client service process from account opening through completion, ensuring every detail is handled accurately and efficiently. Process new accounts, account transfers, money movement requests, beneficiary updates, and other service requests. Serve as a primary operational contact for clients, providing prompt, professional communication and coordinating closely with advisors. Prepare paperwork and documentation while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Support advisors with meeting preparation, client reviews, portfolio reports, and account summaries. Maintain CRM and document management systems with organized, up-to-date client records. Coordinate with custodians and other third-party providers to ensure requests are completed smoothly and on time. Assist with compliance documentation and operational recordkeeping. Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and contribute ideas that enhance the client experience. Qualifications We're looking for someone who enjoys serving clients, takes pride in getting the details right, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Preferred qualifications include:
2-5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, brokerage, or a related financial services environment. Experience processing account openings, ACAT transfers, money movement, and client onboarding. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture. Candidates from RIAs, brokerage firms, banks, and other financial institutions are encouraged to apply. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary of $60,000-$75,000 , based on experience.
