Automotive About the Role We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our automotive team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers and will play an important part in creating a positive experience from the very first conversation. The Customer Care Representative will handle inbound and outbound customer communications, respond to inquiries, follow up with prospective and existing customers, and schedule appointments for our Sales and Service departments. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with customers by phone, has excellent communication skills, and is motivated by providing exceptional service while achieving performance goals. What You'll Do Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner. Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to follow up on inquiries, leads, appointments, and customer needs. Respond to internet leads, phone inquiries, and customer requests in a timely manner. Schedule and confirm sales and service appointments. Follow up with customers who have missed, canceled, or have not yet scheduled appointments. Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the appointment process. Provide accurate information regarding dealership services, vehicle availability, service appointments, and general customer inquiries. Identify customer needs and route customers to the appropriate Sales or Service team member when necessary. Document all customer interactions, calls, appointments, and follow-up activities accurately in the dealership CRM. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout every interaction. Meet or exceed established call, appointment, follow-up, and customer engagement goals. Follow established processes for lead management and customer follow-up. Work closely with Sales, Service, and management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Perform additional customer service and administrative duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous experience in automotive BDC, call center, customer service, appointment setting is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls. Professional, friendly, and confident telephone presence. Strong listening and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Highly organized and able to manage multiple customer conversations and follow-ups. Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, email, and other technology. Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. A positive attitude and commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
