Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Client Service Representative and Groomer Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face and helpful voice that welcomes pet owners, assist with pet grooming and handling,and to optimize workflow timing. Your enthusiasm for animals and excellent communication skills will ensure every pet and owner feels valued, comfortable, and confident in our care. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, answer questions, and schedule appointments with enthusiasm and professionalism Assist groomers with pet handling, bathing, drying, brushing, pet coat styling, and pet nail trimming to ensure a smooth grooming process Handle pets safely during appointments, ensuring proper animal restraint and comfort throughout procedures Communicate clearly with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs, health concerns, or special instructions Perform heavy lifting when necessary to help move animals or equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas and ensure all tools are sanitized according to health standards Skills Experience with dog training, dog handling, animal handling, and companion animal care Knowledge of veterinary procedures or experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus Familiarity with pet grooming techniques including coat styling and pet nail trimming Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques for various species such as dogs or cats Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners of diverse backgrounds Willingness to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with the groomers
