An Automotive Customer Service Representative greets customers and responds to customer inquiries at an automotive dealership or service business. Provides customers with repair estimates and manages paperwork. May schedule car rentals. Makes calls to schedule sales appointments and follow-up with customers. Keeps records of customer communications and transactions.
Breckenridge Trucking Inc. is currently seeking a full-time well-qualified service writer to provide overall support to the fleet maintenance department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Organize Shop Operations:
Manage daily workflow, prioritize work orders, and coordinate repairs between technicians, drivers, dispatch, and management.
Manage Repairs & Maintenance:
Review equipment concerns, coordinate diagnostics, schedule preventative maintenance, and ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
Customer & Vendor Communication:
Communicate repair needs, estimates, timelines, and equipment status while coordinating outside vendors and specialized tanker services.
Maintain Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure accurate work orders, maintenance records, inspections, certifications, warranty documentation, and other required fleet records are maintained.
Control Costs & Equipment Downtime:
Review labor, parts, and vendor charges; monitor repair progress; and identify opportunities to reduce costs and return equipment to service as quickly as possible.
Provide safety administrative support:
assist in keeping DOT and OSHA related required documents up to date and filed; assist in preparing and organizing safety policies and programs within the company Maintains and update databases or spreadsheets Maintains knowledge of and adheres to company policies and procedures Researches, prioritizes, follows up and provides recommendations regarding issues, concerns and process improvements
Experience and Skills:
