Job Description

General Summary:
Sells and promotes residential and business services of the company while handling new and existing customers. Assists customers with billing inquiries, new service requests, changes in service, and disconnects.
Essential Job Functions :
Assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner with billing inquiries, new service requests, service plan changes, disconnects and service questions and concerns. Completes appropriate service orders or paperwork accordingly. • Tier 1 resolution of customer issues and problems using defined polices and procedures. • Handles disconnects and reconnects of services of customers with late payments. Develops and sends correspondence to customers including membership applications, billing information, etc. Informs and educates customers and potential customers of the technology available to them as well as who Endeavor is as a cooperative. Promotes and sells products, services and solutions to new, existing, and potential residential and business customers, capitalizing on new sales opportunities within the customer base. Responsible for reaching established goals. Attendance at Endeavor community events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of company products and services. Knowledge of company policies and procedures. Knowledge of general office procedures. Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, copier, fax, and telephone systems. Skill in oral and written communication. Skills in prioritizing and completing multiple projects. Skill in identifying problems and resolutions. Skilled in providing excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Ability to work with frequent interruptions. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Skilled in presenting and selling products and services. Ability to effectively function as a team player.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent, plus three to five years of customer service and sales experience.
Compensation:
$19.00 - $21.50 per hour
