Summary / Objective Forte Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is looking for a full-time Rehab Front Desk Associate to become a valued member of our dynamic team at our growing Carmel, Indiana Physical and Occupational Therapy Office. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this essential role, you'll provide vital support while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and caring manner Provide directions, answers questions, and meet a variety of customer service needs Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and consistently represent the organization in a positive and highly professional manner Register patients, check in/check out, accurately collect payment, verify patient insurance payer information, send/receive fax information as needed Data entry into the practice management software program(s) Maintain excellent working relationship with all physicians, rehab providers, management, staff of internal and external departments Prepare batches and reconcile patient payments Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)
Patient-Focused Approach:
Must consistently demonstrate superior customer service skills and be detail oriented
Team Collaboration:
Must be able to work seamlessly with providers, medical staff, therapists and other administrative teams
Communication/Adaptability:
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and the ability to problem solve
Technological Proficiency:
Must have thorough understanding of computer software, phones, email, and other technologies found in a healthcare setting Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, required; Associates degree in healthcare related field, preferred Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel Occasional travel between offices may be required based on clinic needs (Greenwood, Carmel, Noblesville) Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug free workplace
